I grew up playing sports, but never appreciated the game of golf until a group of girlfriends took lessons together and I started to play on a regular basis. While playing golf with the girls, my competitive spirit kicked in and I was hooked! I also took individual lessons from an LPGA Golf Instructor who improved my swing. But I still consider myself a rookie golfer.
