It's been a LONG time coming my friends.  I have found a BLOG function for the site which is MUCH better than the old one.  It's a bit of a test right now and some tweaking is probably going to be needed.  But try it out and let me know if it's better.

New features include a "dashboard" where you manage your blog posts.  The dashboard is where you write and read your posts.

In the dash board you can also search posts and use "Tags" to group your posts in categories.  Tags=Categories.

You can also add images (I think), and you can also use permalinks and trackbacks.

I've got the blog component set to "ping" technorati too.  If you don't know what that means, it's basically notifying the largest blog network to put the word out about your blog post.

For now, the dashboard opens in a new blog window.  I'm not sure I like that feature but given the fact that the component is SO much better I'm ok with it.
