My break from golf for about a week helped. I played in +1 for 27 today, with playing the front twice. The front is by far more difficult than the back too. I hit the Bobby Jones driver and 56 and 60 degree wedges for the first time. I hit the driver badly the first few holes because I was swinging out of my shoes and trying to murder it. When I finally settled down with it, I bombed it. I hit two drives over 310 yards and drove the par-4 14th. The early report card on the wedges is that they'll take some getting used to. They're much heavier than my old ones and the leading edges are rounded compared to a more straight line I had before. The lob wedge doesn't go as far as my Vokey as of today. The sand wedge saved a par for me today out of the greenside bunker on 16.
