Played with NO pain today! New grips & a 75. E-mail

I played with NO pain in that left hand today.  The ball of fluid in my joint must have popped.  It's gone and the area isn't sensitive anymore.

I've changed grips to my regular Winn W-5's, getting rid of those harder and thinner grips that came with my new MacGregor MT irons.  I switched out the V17 Winns on my driver, wedges and fairways too.  I'm thinking the hard and thin grips contributed to the abuse my hand must have been taking.

The round today was a tale of two nines.  I had some putting issues on the front due to the last night's heavy rain.  The greens are normally blazing fast but they were slow.   I had a 3 putt bogey on #1 and made 3 other bogeys on the front for a 40.  On the back my new putter started to heat up.  I saved a great par on 10 and birdied 11 & 12.  -1 on the back for a total of 75.
