  • Tattoo Golf Driver Cover
I’m writing this review on my MacBook while in line at the DMV to get my driver’s license renewed. There’s nothing more thilling than seeing that you’re #510 in line and they just called "now serving #137 at window 13." This is the 3rd and final post in my series on Tattoo Golf head covers. [...]
  • Wish me luck
No I’m not on my way to play in a golf tournament. I’m on my way to the DMV. I’m bringing a huge coffee and my laptop. That should help pass the time for the estimated 2-3 hours I’ll be there…
  • Jazz beat the Lakers in overtime
My ears are still ringing from how freaking loud the game was yesterday. The Jazz had a 12 point lead in the 4th but Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers forced it into an intense overtime. In overtime the Jazz pulled away to win game four of this series and tie it [...]
  • Going to game 4 of the Jazz vs Lakers
No golf today (at least maybe until later). I’m going to the NBA playoff game four of the Jazz vs the LA Fakers, er, Lakers. My interest in the NBA nearly dropped off the map when my favorite player, John Stockton, retired. But the new Jazz are fun to watch and the arena (whatever [...]

  • Golf tourney to host $200K buy-in event in '09
For the golfer who thinks a 15-foot putt with 10 grand on the line isn't enough action, how's $200,000 sound? No, not the prize, just the fee to tee off. The World Series of Golf next year in Las Vegas will cost $200,000 to enter and offer a $1.5 million payout for the winner. Organizers think they can find 25 players willing to ante up the $200,000 entry fee.
