Older Golf - Smarter Golf E-mail

I was one of those golfers that when I first learned about the game, I loved hitting the ball far. It did not matter which club, as long as I hit it further than my fellow golfers. I was hitting my pitching wedge 160 yards and thought it was cool. Over the years as I matured I realized how wrong my thought process was. I was learning about placement golf and even though more challenging, brought more joy to the game. I like the strategic process. Even my approach to my swing this year was different. Instead of worrying about my whole swing, I would go to the range and work on one fundamental part of the swing. Then when I played I would only expect to improve in that area of my game. I enjoy playing, so much more today. My putting still sucks, but I will work at the part in the near future....lol
