Since opening in April 2006, roughly 1.5 million individual golf visitors have been to The Golf Space. That's over 50,000 unique visitors per month average. This statistic is a bit skewed because there wasn't much traffic when the site launched. As of February 2008, TGS membership is at roughly 3000 members. Visitors and membership are growing at an exponential rate.
TGS has received hundreds of inquiries about advertising. To date, no "paid" advertisements have been placed and no advertising revenue has been generated. Banners which appear at TGS are site sponsors who provided products or services to the site, or prizes/giveaways for TGS members.
As the site grows, and demands associated with administering and hosting the site increase, advertising revenue will become necessary to offset operational costs and allow the site to grow. When that time comes, only relevant products and services that we've personally reviewed or tested, and which we genuinely "believe in" will be advertised.
