I think it might be time for me to give in and take a lesson! After watching the PGA this weekend, I could not help but notice the low penetrating ball flight of many of the professionals. Although I have been working on this at the range and seem to have made great progress with my woods, I am still hitting irons very high. NOT a good ball flight when you play in Kansas!

Ball position is one major factor. Then there's many ways you can keep the ball down in your swing, like having a low finish. You may be scooping the ball too. |

I have been working on ball position, so hopefully I will continue to see gains with that. I actually go after the ball very agressively and have a fairly steep angle of attack (I have been working on flattening out my swing plane a bit). |
