It is always interesting over here on the Old Course and even more so on Wednesday just past. As I approached the 1st tee and was introduced to my golfer for the day Rodger, by the golf tour operator.

A world of SPAM

Ok, I get it... We get it... SPAM is just horific., I have a few Questions regauring SPAM.

1. What does SPAM stand for?

2. Does asking general questions about my product ( without mentioning the name of the product, only it's function), to figure out why people are not concidering it as an option for use in there golf club, considered SPAMing.

Yes today is my birthday. Every year now I lose some distance off

Overseeding

Well overseeding is here in the state of Arizona, most courses are closed for a couple of weeks. It's tough going to work and seeing brown grass (dead) all over the place. But having started a new job the day we overseeded was not too bad, it gave me a chance to see what was in the golf shop and to see what we had on order for the golf season. Yesterday I played in a 27 hole tournament. I have a sunburn on my face. Today the temp droped about 30 degrees and it has been raining constantly. Fall suddenly seems to be here, which sucks.

Changing the Pin!

Well they change the pin placement at my course regularly to keep the green hackers from creating to much havoc and made my favorite easier holes tougher. They do this from time to time, I guess they feel it keeps it challenging. Even after doing this I still had a 45 on the back 9 last night and I really struggled. Well I guess they don't want anyone to get to use to them before they will move them again.

At the start of 2008 I decided that I wanted to break 100 by the end of the year. I just started playing and knew my swing was a mess. I took lessons in the spring and commited myself to hitting balls into a net in the backyard to ingrain my new swing.

I also started playing almost every week. This was made possible because of a tip that I got from someone I meet on TGS. Golfnut told me about a web site that booked discounted tee times at public courses in my area.
