What Irons do you Use? 3 Months, 1 Week ago  
I'm just curious, what are the most popular iron's being used here by the members of TGS.

Myself I like Ping. I've been using the ping i3 blades for several years now. My iron game improved dramatically shortly after I made the switch. I'm considering the new i10 from ping. My reason for choosing clubs from ping golf was they are the pioneers of custom fitting.

My place is like a golf shop. I'm currently using the new MacGregor MT irons. My former set are Hogan Apex Edge Pro's. I also have GRIP's and a set of MacGregor VFoil Blades.

I swing Adams GT3. I just started playing and found them to be the most foregiving irons.

Current set is TaylorMade rac OS2, which I considered the better quality within my budget, also helped that they were on sell at the time of purchase. My previous set, purchased in late 80's, was Wilson Dyna-Sole, just shows how much time away from golf it's been for me.

Sort of a mixed bag so far! No real trends yet!
I started at the ripe old age of 12 with my dad's Bobby Locks, in the early 80's I bought a set of Wilson staff. After that I had a custom set made Tour II's they were junk. From them I got a set of Harvey Penick's built. I loved them and used them for about 10 years until I changed to Ping.

Currently I'm using Ping G-10's. I used Ping S-59 blades before. I thought the G-10's would help me but I hit the S-59 blades a full club longer. I'm not a low handicapper but thought the G-10 would be better but now I think i was better off with the blades. For one thing I hate offset, it bugs me.
