Is there a doctor in the house? 7 Months ago
I'm pretty lucky. I'm very healthy (the test from the free clinic came back negative! hehe).

Seriously, during my golf marathon I sustained an injury. My left forefinger now has a hard lump right in the joint where it connects to the palm of my hand, on the palm side. It's about the size of a BB. I thought I'd broken a bone but I can move my finger fine so I don't think that is it.

I think I may have overdone it and that's a cyst with some fluid in it. It hurts pretty bad. I'm going to take it easy for a few days. It seems better today.

Anyone have experience with something like this?

Will I have some thing like that on my hand and it was a blood blister. That is when you burst a vesicle in an area and the blood fulls up the area . This never goes away, until you prick the lump and remove the blood.

If you prick it! then follow Scruffy advice. JD it and cowboy it up. not do not DRINK THE JD..POUR IT ON THE SPOT.

This isn't in the skin or flesh, it's under the skin in the crease where the joint is. I first thought I'd broken a bone. I'm gathering that it IS fluid buildup though. I don't do JD, but maybe I can have a nice Chianti first?
