On the 18th today, I knocked my beloved ProV1 into a hazard. Never would I hit that ball again. Fortunately while searching for it, I found to replacement ProV1's...

It dawned on me, that I'd nearly played 3 entire 18 hole rounds with one ball. So my record for this year is 53 straight holes without losing a ball.

A couple of years ago I got to about the 97th hole before losing a ball. That's my all time record.

So let's keep track of our current streaks here this season and see who ends up on top at the end of the year!

I should start keeping track...A buddy that golfs with me said ever since he had been golfing with me, he has never seen me lose a ball. I try not too (Pro V1x's), but I never keep track. Now is a good time to start. After tomorrow though, lol...I hear I am playing a tough course.

I believe that I have played the same ball (Pro V1X) for two rounds, and then lost it in the woods somewhere during the third round. But, I usually get the cleanest ball out of my bag. I have some balls in my bag that pre-date the Pro V series.

Oh, well!!!

It's 18 hole for me. I only play with one ball for 18 hole and then it go in to a shag bag. I have gone back and very my stats to see when the last time that I lost a ball and it has be 9 rounds of golf or 162 holes. But I do not think this counts, since I play only with one ball for 18 holes.

But those of you that do play the same ball and keep this stat, thumbs up to you and a great job done well.

Not to say I wont go back and use that ball again, but if I ever make a bogey, I go to a new ball.

I'll probably get about 18 holes out of one ball then it goes to the shag bag.

Ok perhaps I can clarify. I have played with the SAME exact ball for 96 holes. But if you take a ball out of play I think that doesn't necessarily have to count. So it could be the most consecutive holes without losing a ball if you want. I think it's good to have something like this in your mind to promote accurate play...
