I am a beginning golfer ( just about a month now) that just joined here. This seems like a very nice site. The people here seem pretty nice. Hubby and I live south of Houston and moved here about 2 years ago. With my greenness to golf we have limited ourselves on courses but Hubby is wanting to get back into Scrambles and the better courses. I played in my first scramble Tuesday nite and loved it. We play at Hillcrest Golf Club in Alvin (its just a 9 hole lighted course)Anyway, i digress. Just introducing myself! Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
DH has been playing since before we met and i have rode with him when we lived in MS and were members of a club there. I have had some major life changing decisions in the last year and wanted to get more active. Other than that I dont really know what prompted me to take it up. DH had tried several years ago to teach me some basics but i didnt really want to at that time.
We went as a family to a local driving range one evening on a whim and he showed me some things and it went from there. I played for a few weeks with his clubs and i think he got tired of sharing them and we bought me a set. Im addicted now.
