Hello from southwest Michigan. And man is it hot and humid here at this time. But never to bad for golf.

I am a newbie here and am always looking for new forums and blogs to join. And since all i do is work and play golf, I figured this would be a perfect fit. Especially since i can visit and post here from work.

A little about me. I am a 26 yr old male, born and raised in a small town. Started playing golf when i was 15/16. I currently have an index of somewhere around 5 (4.8-5.2 somewhere in this range, didn't check when the new ones came out this week) and play on average 4 18 hole rounds a week. Some times 5 rounds on sat-sun. depends on work and other assorted commitments. I never really pay attention to distance off the tee, as long as it is in the short grass i am fairly happy. On average i would say that i carry the ball 265. My course does not offer much in the way of roll. Although i did just switch to a R7 425 and i might lose 5-10 yards, but have a much more consistent ball flight so i am happy.

well, that is just a start into me and my involvement with golf.
