Ok folks I'd like to open up "applications" (for lack of a better word) for site contributors. I have a few now, but they haven't been posting as much as I'd like.

If you are a golf pro, trainer, business expert or have some useful insights to golf and would like to contribute some articles please let me know. These articles would appear on the home page.

Requirements:

Be able to write interesting articles with accompanying photos regularly (once a month, bi-weekly or weekly).

Know how to use a spell checker!

Know how to write!

Like to write for the love of the game (sorry can't pay you money).

Posts would be exclusive to TGS, not just copy and paste from your own site (google doesn't like duplicate content anyway).

No spam or advertising of your site or product. A small bio paragraph with one outgoing link is ok.

If you'd like to give it a shot, contact me. I'll probably ask for a sample of what you can do.

Tony I'll try & send something over every couple of weeks relating to St. Andrews or the general history of golf. This Ok?

Okay, here's a deal for anyone out there who would like to contribute but doesn't like to write -- I'll act as editor if you like.

I'm a professional public relations/ marketing communications writer in my day job but I have a serious case of golf on the brain, so I'd be happy to wordsmith for people just for the fun of it.

At least until it stops being fun! Hooray!
