Too late, Tony hehe. You have to have a match set up and plan to play...better still to let your opponent know when you are going to play in your match.

I played ballstrikingguru today. I wasn't planning to play golf today, but took advantage of the better weather and played with tons of other people around. I went to Mountain Dell then drove away when I saw that the parking lot was overflowing.

I shot a sweet 74 (37-37) at Murray Parkway. I think you call it Murray Deathway. I really enjoyed the golf today...one of the most enjoyable rounds for me this season so far. My swing was really on at first. I lost it a little, but still played well. The best thing about this round was that I finally made putts in the 4-6 foot range...about time. I even made one on #18 to save par. The greens were actually in pretty good shape there today...huge improvement over when I last played there, but they were aerated.

I shot 3.1 under my GS league handicap for those tees. Ballstrikingguru will have to earn this one. If he shoots anything like his 30 in 9 today before getting rained out, he will win, though. Good luck, BSG!

Post edited by: mygolfdomain.com, at: 2006/05/29 14:47

Just proves my theory that I don't have a CHANCE against anyone NET. Sandbaggers...

My 78 today at bonney probably won't help my cause either...

Interesting conditions. The rough is getting LONG and thick for the salt lake Am. The greens are fast as hell and PERFECT. The best.

I'll check out Bonneville...sounds like it's in great shape. I'm not signed up for the Salt Lake Am yet...I'll check into it. I called to sign up for Art City yesterday and it was already booked. Major bummer...that is my favorite tournament.

I just set up a gross only virtual league for TGS members. Handicaps are not used in this one. I have a match set up already. Tee ratings are still used to make it a little more fair.

Here is the gross only TGS league: http://www.mygolfdomain.com/league_view.php?league=22

Gross only league! Yeah. I have a chance as long as the ball striking guru takes the week off...hehe.

You won't get into the Salt Lake Am. They open up registration at 7am about a month before and it's sold out by 9am...

It is the best tourney in the state for AM's for sure.

Go to bonney. The greens are frickign amazing right now. Fast, smooth and soft.
