That is a PGA score from the tips there. Of course, it isn't a 30 like you shot today in 9 before getting rained out! Nice playing.

I have never broke 80 at TP. I play the Gold tees there usually. I used to play the tips, but there wasn't much point after a few times trying hehe. I would like to play the tips with friends, but I will go for the Gold when heading out by myself just to see if I can break 80 there or whatever...very tough back nine!

Ok I have been so busy, I wanted to say thank you for the suggestions.
We ended up playing 3 courses in 3 days....very nice !

If you would like to see some photos :
Thanks Giving Point
South Mountain
Bountiful Ridge

I personally like South Mountain course the best.

And here are my two favorite photos....maybe cause I took 'em
South Mountain View
Thanksgiving Point View

Tell me what you think of those two....

Teh first one makes it look like there is a hugh body of water to the right, but it's only the mountain shadow.

The second one(TP) is great to show just how high up you are, with the grass at the bottom.

Wow if you liked South Mountain the greens must have been much better than the last time I played it. They were terrible. Almost totally dead.

South Mountain is an awesome golf course. It is one of the most challenging courses around, too. My low score at South Mountain is higher than my low score at Thanksgiving Point.

The greens have been in excellent condition about half the time I've played. I think it's different grass and probably more difficult to maintain there. When this course is in great condition it's a beautiful thing. I didn't play it last year at all and I would like to play it soon. The scenery is outstanding.
