your 6200 yard course could have no bunkers, no trees and be completely flat...while the 5800 yard course could be in a dense, hilly forest.

Yes I thought of that. I do have the "trouble" selection which covers anything like penalty shots, hazards etc. I thought of making that one a drop down selector with different types of trouble listed like OB, unplayable lie, lateral hazard etc...

Yes Tony I like that 'drop down menu' idea for the trouble section it would really tighten up this area and make you face your demons!
