I conceived & developed the karma component and paid a programmer to program it for TGS. I then \"donated\" it to the open source community which opened it up for other people to hack and modify it.

Some computer geek in Germany ran with it and made this new version which I just installed. It supposedly can karma for other stuff like posting images and other things.... Still learning... I just hope the damn thing works. If it does, I\'ll have to reprogram the modules on the right of the home page...

If this karma works, I\'ll port the current member karmas over.

Can\'t vote for myself, but gave everyone else a thumbs up. The only thing I don\'t like is that you HAVE to put text in there to send....and where do you read the text that was sent with the karma? Secondly, I don\'t think there should be a neutral or a thumbs down button. Who is going to hit neutral (\"Oh, I think Tony is being Neutral today, so I better make sure I click his Neutral button.\" Lol) and I think a Thumbs Down is just too negative and don\'t believe the TGS community members are negative people and would want to take away someones karma or goodwill gestures. Just my thoughts.

I agree with GG...no neutra or thumbs down. And honestly, sometimes I don\'t have time to text someone when dropping off karma\'s....I\'m a busy girl!
