If you need to reduce an image to 300 x 300 pixels, you\'re using a PC, and you have Microsoft Office loaded on it, here\'s one way to do it:

1. Open the image using MS Office Picture Manager
2. Select Edit Picture
3. Click \"Resize\"
4. Enter 300 x 300 in the Custom width x height box. The program will automatically adjust the reduction so that your picture will be the right size (or at least, not bigger than 300 x 300) without changing the aspect ratio (i.e. distorting the image by squishing a rectangular pic into a square shape).
5. Do a \"save as\" under a new name so you won\'t overwrite the original full size image.
