If it were any other tournament than the U.S. OPEN I'd give Tiger the nod. BUT this is the toughest, most grueling tournament of the year and he's coming off an injury and mental break. The one positive for him is that this is Torrey Pines, where he plays extremely well.
I think Tiger makes the cut but isn't a factor on Sunday. If I'm wrong, he's more amazing than I imagined.

I haven't really decided yet. The bombers will have an advantage IF they can hit it straight. THe greens aren't terribly difficult.

Even on the mend, Tiger is a force to be reckoned with-- especially in the MINDS of the other players. Me, personally, I'm pulling for a couple of first timers-- Pat Perez and Ryuji Imada. Both have played Torrey a lot and I'd like to see a new face rise to the occasion-- you know, a real Roy McAvoy!!
