With so much bad financial news on TV you need to get more creative in marketing.
People want relief from stress and playing Golf does it.
The business I promote that targets Golfers does a lot of advertising and is going strong.
Good luck!

I wonder if golf courses will lower their rates because of supply and demand. People want relief from stress for sure but golf is expensive in general. I don't see it happening yet but maybe soon.

You would hope that courses will lower prices, clubs and balls get less expensive, and the cold beverages become reasonably priced ... however, the world economy is failing, with the exception of a few countries. Not to get into politics here ... sorry ...
I thought that one of my companies would be making a turn around since courses need players on the course, but the courses continue to be stubborn in not wanting a "discount golf program", though most have some program already.

Our course has been down in rounds and sales for about 6 months. The owner wants to raise prices, not a good plan. Our busy season is starting, with snow birds. But, I still don't think it will pick up anytime soon. My own e-bay business has pretty much stopped completely. There just isn't disposable income for people to use.
