Thanks for all the input....I have started the process and I'm working with Turf Solutions Group (www.turfsolutionsgroup.com) to design the ultimate facility...it will have all the things you have mentioned (especially cold beer), I just wish you all lived closer, so that you could take advantage...

I like all the feedback posted already, and will add that a practice putting and chipping green should be a close to what a real green on a real course would be like.

I have to say it would depend on whether your facility is indoors or out. I used both. Outdoors; a nice long range with lots of targets. Grass tees are always the best but take a lot of up keep. A large putting green with a chipping area and some good sand bunkers.

Indoors you should have a least a half dozen stall equipped with video cameras and launch monitors. Obviously netting as well. Here is an example http://www.urbanlinks.net/

good sand, good turf, accurate yardage markers and targets at varing yardages.
