I was thinking a 56 or 60 degree with low bounce to help with these situations.

I'm sure those of you that play more frequently than once weekly have several wedges to choose from, any suggestions?

A word of caution about low bounce. it takes a LOT of getting use to. I had the exact idea you have about going to a low bounce(4) 60 degree wedge for tight fairway lies. I purchased a Cleveland CG12. I had a very hard time with it. I was always taking a a huge divot and coming up short. Half way through this season I replaced it with a 60 degree Ping tour W with 8degrees bounce. It works much better. Bounce is your friend!

Oh please, I learned and played many years in my youth with what is labeled a starter set now. You know back when a wood was made out of actual wood, and my old zippers rusted leather bag carried a 1w, 3w, 5w, 3i, 5i, 7i, 9i, w, putter. One wedge, not even labeled pitching, sand, or otherwise. Spent almost 12 years with that hand-me down set, learned to handle wedge shots by using high, mid, low grip location, stance, ball position at address, and quarter & half swings, that stuff kinda stuck. Maybe not so much stone age, I'm just twisted, I suffer from old fashion golfitis, seriously, I've only owned 2 putters, and would have been just the one, if someone hadn't stolen it. But what the heck, I like it here in Bedrock.

Hey the Flintstones were one of my father's favourite shows.
