Blog Description:
I have loved golf since the age of 11..fell in love with the game caddying for my best friends neighbor...pulled a trolley... knew nothing of the game but there was a fascination there and it has never left..I played my first two rounds at Langhorne CC, Langhorne Pa...shot 128 in the morning 136 in the afternoon at the age of 12(my best friends brother counted everything)...right at that time,The King Arnold Palmer was coming on the scene at the IVB Cassic at Whitemarsh CC, Whitemarsh, Pa. I went on to caddy at Trenton Country Club...the original caddyshack.. for 3 1/2 years at the age of 15...Then at age 18 and 1/2..The draft..enlisting in the National Guard took me away from golf..my college golf team was put on hold, I started playing again at public tracks for a few years, age 34 to 37, then joined Olde York CC, in New Jersey, a Gary Player design, where I was a Charter Member and won the Senior Club Championship at age 50, I also had the unique pleasure of sitting and speaking with Gary on multiple occasions. I am now am a member of Little Mill CC, Marlton, NJ and Burlington CC, Mt Holly, NJ...I have been a member of a private golf club for the last 23 years... always wanted to be around golf...playing good or bad...coaching somebody's swing...putting for dollars, drinks or just for free and to see someone smile over a well struck shot....
