I am happily married and have a three year old daughter. I live in the beautiful "central valley" of California.
I'm an easy going golfer. I'm pretty conservative with the rules, but don't mind giving or taking a mulligan or a liberal drop here or there. For the most part I can handle par 3's, I enjoy a challenge now and then just to keep myself in check. As a 20's handicapper I am not good enough to be too serious, I enjoy an occasional brew around the 10th, and a fair share of toilet humor. Life is too short to be too much of a stick in the mud.
In our free time our family plays an active role in our church and our community. I very much enjoy music; I play the drums, bass and some guitar. I also enjoy writing, reading and art.
Mark Twain once said "Golf is a long walk wasted". I am a fan of the man

I really love this course...It is one of the more forgiving 72\'s out there. the top 9 is relatively flat, with the challenge coming on the greens. The front 9\'s fairways are wide open with not many trees to contend with. The back 9 is more challenging with lots of water and trees. Throw in some elevated drives and over-hill approaches it makes for a challenging, yet fun day. I got my dollar\'s worth without getting the urge to huck a club!

my first time on a par 72, the course is very playable for a \"rookie\" with some very long and wide fairways. rolling greens and the altamont winds make this a more difficult course. beautiful, not too many trees, a lot of water, relaxed pacing and very reasonably priced. ($28 including cart)

An all around crappy day. Glad to get out of there in the 80\'s. Nothing worth mentioning; a few pars, and a whole bunch of 5\'s and a few 6\'s...yes this is a \"par 3\" course!

River oaks is a solid, challenging par 3 course. Lots of trees and rough. Keep it straight and near the green and you\'ll be fine. (Otherwise, I hope you bring lots of balls) undeveloped land borders most of the top 9, and the Tuolumne River plays along much of the lower 9. A nice, casual course to polish your game or kill a few hours with the guys... without killing your wallet

this is a great course, it is what I would refer to as an intermediate course, I believe par is 63. there is lots of water, with well maintained trees, rough and o/b. the only place I lost balls was in water (and one went onto southbound Hwy 99,through a torn net...what a mess, but thank God, NO TRAFFIC!). Staff is friendly, pace is relaxed, rates are reasonable.

this is a nice course...however, the staff was (to be kind) unfriendly. I understand you are running a business, but it is my $30. I know we ALL have bad days, but as a merchant, YOU make the first impression, and bad noise makes ugly echoes. All I ask is to be treated with respect as a patron until I provide you reason to disrespect me, regardless of how \"the last group\" was behaving. We did nothing wrong (we were simply checking in...well dressed, and 20 minutes early) they knew they were wrong and rather than apologize they grew indignant. As for holding our group up for \\\"a regular who is running late\\\", that was unprofessional and will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! I must give credit, the course is beautiful and I did enjoy playing (once I remembered to breathe, the white-knuckle rage wore off and I began enjoying the day, (seeing the 7\\\'s and 8\\\'s turn into 3\\\'s and 4\\\'s never hurts the \\\"healing process\\\" either!)
