Matthew Whitty brings a wealth of life experience to his artistic endeavors. His athleticism is a defining component of Matthew’s character.
Matthew is an accomplished golfer who in his senior year was voted all-scholastic by local media. Matthew will be attending some of the smaller tours and then see if he can someday qualify for the PGA tour.
Generous and unselfish, Matthew has devoted a great deal of time and effort to service in Special Olympics. He is one of the Venue Coordinator’s at the Winter Games ice skating competitions in Worcester, Massachusetts and for the past four years has served as roller skating Venue Coordinator for the Massachusetts Summer Games held at Harvard Stadium. Having struggled with the challenges of severe Dyslexia and other medical challenges as a youngster, Matthew has devoted much of his energies to service in Special Olympics. He also is an Ambassador for Kids with a Cause based in Los Angeles, CA and works with UCP/ Wheels for Humanity based in North Hollywood, CA
He has done some modeling and is hoping that this may lead to performance opportunities. At six-feet five inches, Matthew’s photographs well, and he would be an ideal candidate for clothing and athletic equipment promotion. Truly a power of example as a survivor of a number of serious challenges, Matthew’s approach to his future is to “Keep moving ahead or you will never know what was planned for you in life” and also “Live ever day like it’s going to be your last because you never know when it will end.”
