Turquoise Valley is considered Arizona's oldest continuously operating golf course, founded in 1908 and built in nearby Warren, Arizona. In 1936, as a WPA project, the clubhouse was moved to its present location and the development of the current site began. Turquoise Valley began as a 9 hole course played twice from different tee boxes for a total of 18 holes. The "back nine", a true desert course, was officially opened in January of 1999

This club was bought by one of my high school players, and it is not stiff enough for her. She paid $199 at Golf Galaxy (sticker still on club).
